Data recovery from backup

I installed the version 4.4.1 on a Windows Server and I should restore the data (with MySQL Workbench) a backup of another Windows server, but it asks me the Root password. When I installed VTECRM has not been called for the inclusion of the root password and then do not know. How should I do? Thanks.

I have same problem, because I have to restore my old backup.
Is important to specify, that I have not any experience in php!
Can anybody help me step by step, how to restore an old backup of VTE? I have no idea how to do it!
I hope in the future VTE will integrate backup/restore functions directly inside VTE.

Sorry, but I think that I wrote it correctly; i have no idea how to use php instructions, or files.
I need the support STEP BY STEP for restore my old backup made with VTE 4.0
I don't know nothing about configuration files, or other, but I'm only end user and don't know anything about "php"
