creation of new module

Hi, I've installed the version 4.1 free of vte crm and I need help!! I need to handle the maintenance of the photovoltaic plants of my clients and I would have a form with all the systems of customers with their descriptions (power, exercise date, tipoglia, etc.). Then I want to connect them to the companies like the contacts. Also I would be able to make various filters based on the types of plants, is that possible and how can I do that?
