VTE CRM 4.4.1 and PHP 5.4.9 was created by netcom
I installed VTE CRM locally.
I have to copy to an online server.
On the server I have php version 5.4.9

When I open VTE get a 500 error.
The log says only: PHP Fatal error: Call-time pass-by-reference has been removed in /home/oltrelac/crm/public_html/include/database/PearDatabase.php on line 1282

Excuse me, but I think that "try a previous php version" is not an answer. So, I ask to CRMVILLAGE team: VTECRM runs with newer php versions or not? If the answer is no I fear VTECRM is almost useless.
