Server upgrade

Hi
I'm migrating my 4.4 installation from windows server to linux.
I wish to know if there is some linux LAMP stack configuration guide that I could follow because I'm having problems with server side configuration.
At the moment I'm stuck at the first login when VTE asks me:
Attivazione VTE 4.4 - E` necessario attivare VTE.
[You need to activate VTE]
after submitting the answer is:

Install the cURL library or update your VTECRM to last version 4.4.1:
