First installation of VTECRM Free. Work on localhost only.

Hi.
I just installed VTECRM free on a customer local server (Windows version) with the aim to install later the "on-site" version (when the customer has understood the potential od VTECRM).
The installation goes well and the site is perfectly accessible from "localhost", but when i try to reach it from a LAN pc (thru IP address:8040) the site in unreachable.
I'm not an Apache expert consequently early to try by myself to touch some configuration parameter i'm asking help from the Forum

yes it works perfectly as http://localhost:8040, it doesn't work with http://computer-name:8040 or http://local-ip-address:8040

In the meanwhile i have registered to VTECRM free my personal computer for testing reason and this installation works perfectly both locally and "lan", i don't understand where the differences are excetp two phisical networks (my office and customer site)

the customer should not have a firewall, as for my knowledge, but since the connection inside the LAN is wireless may be the access point has a firewall inside it... i will look ...
