How do I rename "Tickets" to "Cases" as many clients are frustrated with the name Tickets as I deal with a few clients within Events and "tickets" mean a completely different thing. So we Need the Tickets module to be called Cases. I have made changes to the various language files but I see no change.

You should be able to change labels using the language editor
/index.php?module=Settings&action=LanguageEditor

Module Name is HelpDesk , LBL_MODULE_NAME is Trouble Tickets. change it to what you like.
This should reflect everywhere in the system
